Lega del Filo d'Oro

Why choosing to give the 5x1000 to the Lega del Filo d'Oro

It was 20 December 1964 when Sabina Santilli, a deafblind woman, founded the Lega del Filo d’Oro. 53 years passed and in this half century, the Lega del Filo d’Oro taught to, rehabilitated and took care of numerous children, boys and men who were deafblind or multisensory disabled. The Lega del Filo d’Oro is a unique entity in Italy, with 5 centres and 3 territorial offices in 8 regions, offering to each guest a personalized rehabilitation treatment and more advanced tools to communicate with the others, to establish sentimental relationships and to live a fair and autonomous life.

Donating the 5x1000 of the Income declaration is an act of love that costs nothing to you (it’s no effort for you) but that has an inestimable value for us. Your 5x1000 can help more and more deafblind children, boys and men to come out from the darkness and the silence in which they are isolated and to rehabilitate them in their families and in the society.

This year we must win a demanding challenge: the construction of the New National Centre in Osimo (AN) which will help us to divide in a half the waiting lists, to improve the services in order to accept more and more requests of help.

If you are wondering to whom donate the 5x1000, do like us in Trevalli Cooperlat and choose the Lega del Filo d’Oro.
